I mean,,I understand that people need money,better working condions and better services.
I also understand that goverments must look out for the people in Whole,not just individuals.
They must do wats best for the country and its citizens,while not being forced into individuals' needs that way the could be a little peace and hormony.
But AAyyy NO,NO,NO,NO!!
Right now there is a strike(protest) going on nation wide.The teachers union SADTU and the others want a salary increase. Is that so BAD?? since the current wage for our educators is roughly R 8 500.00 after deductions !!! thats ridiculuos !! how are they suppose to feed their
families,pay their debts,pay rent,buy clothes and still have enough money left for transportation to go to work and do a much needed and appreciated service (probarbly not by the goverment) to the children of our country and the country itself !!??? How ??? Thats RIDICULUOS !!! I KNOW Because my mother is a teacher. And Right now she aint going to work ! No educator is !! And the worst thing about this is that my mother along with all the teachers in the country are fighting for what they deserve and at the end they WILL get it.
And then our beloved gorverment will decrease their salaries for the days they did'nt work BECAUSE OF THE GORVERMENT'S STURBONNESS AND GREED !!! THEY JUST WANT MONEY COMING IN AND NOT GOING OUT !!!
Right now the goverment and companies are crying out saying they need more qualified workers.How are they going to get those qualified people if there is nobody teaching them and giving them the needed skills ????
Let me tell you this,when the strike(Toi-toi) first started i was against the idea of not going to work totally !! I mean no matter what the goverment says or thinks !!, every country needs education. THE FATHER OF THE NATION NELSON MANDELA
SAID : EDUCATION IS POWER !! wise words from a wise man.Then the goverment says here is a lousy amount TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT !!!!. What the hell ??? thats when everything changed for me.So what I am trying to say is that the are better ways of solving problems but unless both parties are willing to work it out !! Nothing will be resolved!!.And after this strike is over another one will start !!
Maybe its the people themselves who are in the wrong,,but concidering their salaries/wages and the goverments "understanding and support"!! WHO CAN BLAME THEM ???
SIMPLY THE GOVERMENT MUST CHANGE ITS WAYS OR ELSE THE TOI-TOI IN SOUTH AFRICA WILL NEVER END !!!!
